Gagik Shmavonyan is a Professor at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Advisor at the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and President of the NanoHiTech Association. He also serves as the Chief Scientific Coordinator of Educational programs at LarrainVial Investment and Advisory Company (Santiago de Chile).

  • Unique Rubbing Technology: A simple (one-step), fast (150s), cheap, transfer-free, and ecologically clean method for mass production of large-size 2D atomic sheets (graphene, etc.) on any substrate.
  • 1st Mechanical Ballpoint Pencil: Designed for nanotechnology applications.
  • Broadest Semiconductor Optical Amplifier: Developed for the optical communication band.
